All campervans have toilet facilities
There have been growing concerns recently regarding the impact of campervans without toilets. New Zealand's clean, green image is under threat by the behaviour of some clients of commercial campervan companies. These people are renting campervans which do not include toilets and are using them for freedom camping. They are then using the natural spaces where they camp as toilets and for the disposal of grey water.
Travelling by campervan has continued to become more popular in recent years (particularly since the advent of budget sleeper vans which have no toilet, shower or holding tank facilities). This has increased the impact on the environment and we have therefore made the decision to remove all campervans without toilet facilities from this website.
After careful consideration, the following campervans will no longer be listed on this website from 30 June 2008:

- Kea 2 + 2 Flip Top
- Kea 2 berth High Top
- Maui Spirit 2
- Pacific Horizon Eclipse 2 berth
- United 2 berth High Top
- United 3 berth High Top
All existing bookings which were been made on this website for the above campervans, prior to 30 June 2008, will be honoured.
We believe this action is a positive one in keeping with New Zealand's reputation as a clean and environmentally responsible destination.
